The Daily News Online: "In the past, Evans performed a magic trick where he would saw a woman in half. He said he would have a little kid in the bottom half, serving as the legs of the woman.

'I was doing the act, said 'ta-da' and pulled the woman out of the box,' he said. 'The crowd was laughing. I looked over and realized that the kid didn't pull his legs in when the woman got out.'

'People loved that, though, so I made it part of my act.'"
